Be Prepared

Ok so Ann and I went to a class this past week on being prepared (in case of an emergency) I don't really subscribe to living your life in fear but I think it's important to think through how you would deal with an emergency when and if you had to.

Saturday I put the put the top up on the Unimog to clean everything out.  It gave me a new appreciation for being prepared.  The Unimog would be perfect for an emergency. It would provide us temporary living quarters.
This was the first time Ann had seen the inside of the living quarters and let me tell you it was right up her alley.  I tried to talk her into a mock emergency test complete with sleeping out in the Unimog (not really)
This would be our living quarters in case of an emergency.  Pretty plush if you ask me.  Complete with sleeping quarters (heated), 100 gallons of water, fridge and a shower.

After a quick run through on emergency essentials the two of us drove up to Park City.  Provo canyon was beautiful.  The leaves are changing............I would highly recommend a drive up into the mountains to enjoy Utah's beauty.

What do you think of the Flip Mino

So I have been really into this little camera lately.  I want one!  It's small, relatively inexpensive and the quality seems decent but more than anything it's so simple to use.  If any of you out there have used one of these let me know how you like it.

If you are reading this you probably know I work in Real Estate.  This is what I would mainly be using it for as well as catching the occasionally adventure on film.

I just wanted to thank my lovely wife for throwing the best Birthday Party for me this weekend.  It was fun to have see everyone.  This picture gives you an idea of what happened with the cotton candy machine.......I didn't fair so well.  I had a blast thank you sweetie!

You snooze you loose

The Belmont unit went under contract today.  This wasn't the best ROI out there but what it lacked in return it made up for in stability.  BYU approved for 3 women with 1 year leases through August of 2009.  This was a no brainer for the conservative investor.  We had about a 5 days between tenants to pull the carpet, install new carpet, new paint and repairs.

Because BYU has tightened its housing boundaries it's made BYU approved rentals a lot more stable.  The Belmont seems to be the place to live if you're single.  Don't ask me why?
