The Formula One of the Skys

While we were in San Diego we were downtown and they were having a party for the start of the Red Bull Air Race. We weren't able to see the actual air race because we left three days before they started. I was bummed but if you haven't seen this sport you've got to check it out it's like nothing you've ever seen.

Trip to San Diego

It went by so fast but we had a great time in San Diego. It was 80 + degrees all weekend....we spent time at the beach, lego land, Marlo's Birthday party and lots of good times with the family.

Lego Land

Today we went to Lego Land in Carlsbad, California.....it was so fun but really hot! I don't know if it was just because it was snowing in Provo when we left but it was really hot! I think it was in the high 80's. We had a great time and you can not believe what people can do with Legos. Everything from full size Dinosaurs to complete replicas of Las Vegas, New York and San Francisco.

Road Trip with Internet

So Ann and I are traveling down to San Diego with Amy and the girls for the weekend for a much needed vacation and I'm using Verizon Wireless Broadband in my laptop while we are driving.

Probably one of the coolest things ever......driving down the road posting on your blog. I think I have hit an all time high on the geek meter. I don't know what my deal is. Ann calls it geeking out and I've doing a lot of lately.

But thanks to my geeking out you are reading this as I'm writing it somewhere between Filmore, Utah and Cedar City.

PC vs MAC

I have been geeking out lately at the office. We just switched our whole office over to Macs. A good move but a huge undertaking considering we have servers and financial software that has to back up.......the list goes on and on.

One of my goals at the office is to use less resources (stop wasting paper) All our documents and contracts are currently being scanned. Having a digital copy makes it much more convenient at the same time uses less waste.

We have a long way to go but we're on our way. If anyone is considering making the move to a Mac DO IT! One caveat though.....don't convert the whole office at once:)

A couple days at the Homestead

Ann and I just got back from a couple days up the Homestead in Midway, Utah. What a fun couple of days. It felt good to get out of town with Ann. I told her as we were driving home that I was a little bummed because it seems like I've been working a lot lately and this was the first time we had gotten out of town in awhile.

We went up to the Homestead with my family for a couple of days and had a great time. Just wanted to let my wife know how much I love and appreciate all she does for me.

Thanks Ann......I love you!
